4/10: Movie Part 1
Today we started a movie about a musician who worked too hard that he lost his purpose in music (more importantly his health).
The movie shows him fainting, being visibly unwell, and unhappy after working too hard. The main character moves back home to find himself again.
Since I have not seen the second half yet, I have predictions about the movie. I think he will find happiness in his hometown and small church choir. He will get used to the small town life, and find joy in the little things.
Lessons learned from this film:
- Following passions is important, but it is easy to get lost in the materialistic world along the way.
- Sometimes going back to your origins can be grounding.
I hope to take this into my future career, since even though I love what I study, I don't want to get too carried away with work and forget about what actually makes me happy.
